We reported yesterday that the Xoom would be launching without Flash support but will arrive at a later date. Flash 10.2 (instead of 10.1) will be arriving to the Xoom within a few weeks by the way of OTA update. Adobe clarified the Flash status on their own blog by saying:
Adobe will offer Flash Player 10.2 pre-installed on some tablets and as an OTA download on others within a few weeks of Android 3 (Honeycomb) devices becoming available, the first of which is expected to be the Motorola Xoom.
This bit of news will make the browsing experience less desirable at launch. So with the Flash delay, high price point, and the 4G LTE coming by the way of an update later this year, the Xoom isn’t shaping up to be the number one Android tablet it should’ve been.
