The wait appears to be finally over for the world’s first Android 3.0 tablet for consumer sales, the Motorola Xoom for Verizon.   Best Buy stores is now taking pre-orders on the Android 3.0 w/ dual-core processor for Verizon and will be available for purchase on February 24th.    The price at full retail pricing will remain at $799, no word on what the contract pricing will be at the moment but we can expect Verizon to make an official announcement sometime this week.    For those waiting for the Wi-Fi version, there is no mention at the moment.   In the meantime, head on down to your local Best Buy to reserve yours.
