Now that WP7 devices are equipped with the NoDo update, next on the list is the Mango update. The new treats that may come with the Mango is new Bing-related features. Expect to see Bing Vision (like Google Goggles) that uses your WP7 camera to read barcodes, character recognition, & support for augmented reality apps. Next up is Bing Audio (like Shazam) to recognize tracks & the ability to purchase them via Zune Marketplace. Also on deck is turn-by-turn navigation with Bing Maps, a native podcast player, and finally sending voice-to-SMS messages. Pretty cool, huh? The Mango update is slated to arrive this fall unless it gets pushed up.
