We previously reported on a rumor that BlackBerry’s claim to fame app, BlackBerry Messenger, will eventually make its way to Android and iOS devices. During a Q&A session with Mike Kirkup from RIM and a panel of developers at last week’s BlackBerry World Conference, the questions arised about BBM possibly heading to PC and other platforms. The answer was RIM has no plans on doing on offering it to either platform. They know that BBM is their bread and butter for BlackBerry users (corporate & personal users).
