For those out there who ran out and bought or still own a Motorola XOOM, consider this good news.   Starting in September, XOOM owners will be able to send their tablet in to get fitted for 4G LTE speeds.   XOOM owners should expect to receive an email from Motorola/Verizon about up-and-coming hardware upgrade.  This is great for those who hung in there while tomorrow VZW will launch the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE beating the first Honeycomb tablet by a whole month.   Motorola definitely dropped the ball on this as Samsung will beat them to the punch as the update was originally slated for May and here we are in July, soon-to-be August.  Maybe the Droid Bionic will launch before the 4G upgrade?
