Although the carrier did not hit make the cut for a new iPhone carrier, T-Mobile still has some great smartphones to offer.   Starting today, T-Mobile subscribers can pick up the latest and fastest of their Android lineup with the Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Amaze 4G.   The Galaxy S II offers a 4.52inch Super AMOLED Plus display, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor (instead of the 1.2GHz Exynos chipset), Android 2.3 w/TouchWiz, and dual cameras.   The Amaze 4G offers a 4.3inch qHD display, also powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, running Android 2.3 w/ Sense UI, and the same superior 8MP camera found in the myTouch 4G Slide.   Both device are T-Mo’s first devices to support up to 42Mbps on their HSPA+ network along with both priced at $229.99 after $50 mail-in rebate w/ two-year contract.
