…with this concept. There has been a lot of talk of what the next version of Microsoft’s Xbox will look like and its capabilities. Designer Joseph Dumary cooked an interesting design and specs of what he calls the Xbox Prestige. The Prestige offers a smaller form-factor than the current slim version of the Xbox 360 with a lot more built into the system.
The Xbox Prestige looks to offer something called KinectIN where the Kinect sensor we know now will built-in the front of the console. KinectIN is to be equipped with two cameras, four sensors, and a high-sensitivity mic. Also KinectIN allows gamers to purchase a game card that you would scan to your system. Once scanned, you can play from the Microsoft Xbox Cloud or the internal 2TB HD. The Prestige is to be equipped with an 8-core processor that performs 20 times faster than the current Xbox. The processor supports 3D, Live TV, webcam, and GPS allowing users to view other users on a map. I hope Microsoft takes notes with this in regards to the next console.
