Starting today anyone still suffering battery woes from the recent iOS 5 update, help is finally here. Apple has just released the iOS 5.0.1 update for iPhones (3GS/4/4S), iPod Touch (3rd & 4th generation) iPads. The new update offers users:

  • Improved battery performance
  • Adds multi-gesture support for the original iPad
  • Fixes bugs within the Documents In The Cloud
  • Improved dictation support for Australian users
All you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update and good to go. Of course, a Wi-Fi connection is required to complete the update via OTA.  But in case you are not interested, there’s always the old fashioned way of plugging your iDevice to your computer and updating via iTunes.
Enjoy!
