We previously reported on Apple working on a Smart TV for consumers w/ FaceTime & Siri,   more details have arrived to add more fuel to the rumor fire.   An analyst, Peter Misek, has recently added a timeframe for the dubbed iTV.  The iTV is slated to be armed with Siri, FaceTime, and Sharp’s LCd display.   This raises the bar with Samsung to soon launch a Google TV set as manufacturers are now looking to take over your entire household with their products.

Below is a quote from the analyst in regards to the matter:

Over at Jeffries, analyst Peter Misek suggests that Sharp is retooling a production line at its factory in Sakai specifically to manufacture modified amorphous TFT LCD panels that will be used in the so-called iTV. If all goes well, the line should be ready for commercial production by February of 2012, which means we could see Apple’s take on the TV by midyear.

Along with the iTV, Apple is working with Sharp for displays for the upcoming iPad 3 and new iPhone 5 as well.   The analyst also claims that the iPad 3 will be the first ever Apple tablet armed with a Retina Display.  Production has already begun on the third Apple tablet as it will be ready for public consumption early next year.   No real evidence has been unearthed to support this claim but keep your fingers crossed.  It could actually happen.
