After several leaks on them, RIM finally comes clean with that two missing piece of OS 7 puzzle with the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and the Curve 9380. I’m guessing RIM decided to release everything they had in the pipeline instead of scrapping these two devices. Not sure if this is worthwhile with everyone knowing BBX is upon the horizon. Full details on the two lie after the break.
The Bold 9790 looks to offer a 1GHz processor, 2.45inch touchscreen w/ 640 x 480 resolution, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5MP camera, 1230 mAh battery, and NFC support.
While the Curve 9380 will offer a 806MHz processor, 3.2inch touchscreen w/ 480 x 360 resolution, 512MB of RAM, 512MB of storage, 5MP camera w/ flash, 1230 mAh battery, and NFC support.
Pricing and availability on the two will remain unknown for the time being. Other than the Bold 9900/9930, these other OS 7 devices could have stayed out of consumers’ sight. The official release lies below.
