Starting today you can pick up Amazon’s first tablet online for only $199 with the Kindle Fire.   The fire runs a fragmented, custom version of Android that is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, uses a 7inch IPS display w/ 1024 x 600 resolution, 8GB of internal storage, and access to Amazon’s cloud storage, music, books, apps, Instant Video, and the rest of the company’s ecosystem.   The Kindle Fire has no 3G support, GPS, or cameras on board as it is designed after the BlackBerry PlayBook.   Interested consumers who have yet to pre-order theirs, there is still time to put your bid in below.
