Having already shedding some light on the possibility of Apple TV (like a real Apple HDTV not the current set top box), Apple analyst Gene Munster firmly believes that its coming in 2012. We are dubbing it the iTV and plans on arming with all of Apple’s popular software. Munster sees Apple’s iTV equipped to offer users:
- seamless integration with other iOS devices – being able to control the Apple TV via the iPhone remote control
- priced at twice the current market pricing for normal TV’s
- downloading games and content from iTunes, iCloud, and the App Store
- just say “ESPN” and the Apple TV will direct to that channel
- will come in a range of sizes
- You’ll still have to have a cable subscription and cable box
- Apple will launch its TVs for the holiday season next year
So if this does become official sometime at the end of 2012, are you planning on buying?
