Earlier this morning Motorola decided to let the public know about their update schedule for Android 4.0. Unlike HTC’s schedule, Motorola’s upgrade plans are a little less thrilling. Most of the more recent Moto devices like the Droid Bionic, Droid 3/4, Pro+, Razr/Razr Maxx, X2, and the XOOM 3G are still being evaluated for further planning. Bummer. While the update will begin rolling out for the Atrix 1/2, Photon 4G, and the Xyboard 8.2/10.1 sometime during the 3rd quarter. Which is somewhat good news. But for anyone who just bought a recent Moto device, expect everyone to possibly have ICS before you do. You would think since Google just bought Moto Mobility this process would be a lot faster.
