Ever wanted to do more with the photos captured on your smartphone? Know of a few apps but looking for more to step up your creativity but seeking more tools to take them to the next level. We here at TechGuySmartBuy have got you covered. Below are a few apps to help you do just that and we decided to start this off with iOS devices. Keep in mind, some are free and some are paid apps but are here as tools to tap into your creative side.
This app allows you to take multiple photos and create a photo montage. In other words, you can take an element of one photo and then add it to another. (See photo above). Juxtapose has a variety of features & options to really turn your photos into art once you have gotten the hang of it.
Snapseed is probably as close as you can get to a true mobile Photoshop app. It offers a variety of features like the ability to use multiple filters on a single photo, an adjustable tilt-shift option, straighten off-centered images, cropping, rotating, auto-repair, sharing via Email/Facebook, the ability to save your final product to your Camera Roll, and the option adjust your white balance, saturation, contrast, and etc. The app supports images up to 16MP images on your iPhone 4/4S as well.
PicShop Lite is basically a free equivalent with a few more options/features at your disposal like a Meme maker, speech bubbles, & support images up to 8MP.
Splashcam offers a simple way to highlight specific colors within your photos and keep everything else Black & White. Those specific colors are Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow and you can change the levels of exactly how much color you want. You save your finished product to your Camera Roll or share on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Slow Shutter Cam allows you to take ghost-like images, take car light trails, and make blurs into art by controlling the exposure and shutter speeds. Slow Shutter Cam works great at night with lights as you learn to use it . This app gives you the DSLR-like features on your iOS device.
Camera+ is your all-in-one replacement for the default iOS Camera app. This app offers continuous flash, add an additional focus w/ touch exposure, self-timer, stabilizer, burst mode, cropping/rotating options, and a variety of filters to boot. As an added bonus, Camera+ gives you thee option to view the photo’s details like ISO and aperture to name a few.
Camera Awesome is a great alternative to Camera+ that is free that offers practically the same features and options, give or take.
