We kind of saw this coming as T-Mobile is prepping to make changes to their network in order to prep for their LTE launch.  More details are coming to light to make it a possible reality.  Bloomberg reported yesterday that the carrier’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom, could strike a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to T-Mo US.   This is all part of a research note from NY analyst Craig Moffett.

This could help the carrier retain subscribers as many left due to them not offering the iPhone.  After bleeding 510,000 subscribers, I’m quite sure T-Mo could use the boost in revenue.  This is all possible thanks to the AT&T merger being declined by the FCC.  Just in case you T-Mo users needed to know who to thank.
