Earlier today, Verizon announced a new addition to the Android inventory with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Having reviewed the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet back in June, the carrier made a great choice in tablets to add its blazing fast LTE to. The second generation 7inch Tab runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, dual cameras (VGA in front & 3.2MP in the back), and 8GB of storage.
The Tab 2 7.0 will be available on Friday, August 17th for only $349.99 w/ no contract but you will need a data plan to access the carrier’s LTE service. Other than this not running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean , this is an all-around great Android tablet.
