Hope you all are enjoying your Wi-Fi Nexus 7 tablets, I know I am. According to MoDaCo‘s sources, ASUS is ramping up to release a 3G variant of the pure Google tablet. The 7inch slate with a new cellular radio could become available for launch within in 6 weeks. This would put the 3G N7 against the 7.85inch iPad Mini which wouldn’t fare out in ASUS’s favor. In all honesty, this option should have been available upon the official launch as that missing component was have cost them additional sales. We’ll be on the lookout for an official word from ASUS on the matter in the very near future.
