Starting today, many iOS users can enjoy some (that’s right only some on select devices) of the new features on Apple’s new iOS 6. The new OS brings over 200 new features like: new iTunes & App Store, new Maps w/ 3D abilities powered by Tom Tom, Safari full screen mode, the ability to sync bookmarks form desktop & mobile via iCloud, the ability to share photo streams, the ability to post to Facebook via Notification Center, real-time multiplayer action on Game Center, the option to put all of your important emails in one section called VIPs in Mail, new Panorama feature within the Camera to take widescreen photos, and Siri can now post to Facebook/Twitter, tell you sports scores, and recommend movies & restaurants along with reserving your table.
Only the newer devices will get all or most of the new features like Flyover/turn-by-turn navigation can be accessed on the iPhone 4S/5, iPad 2/3, and the 5th iPod Touch. Siri will only be on the iPhone 4S/5, iPad 3, & 5th iPod Touch. FaceTime over cellular and Panorama will only be on the iPhone 4S/5 & the iPad 3.
