For those of you not quite content with the new YouTube app on iOS, there is an alternative out there for you. Within the App Store, there is a great-looking alternative simply called Jasmine. With Jasmine, you can do everything the official YouTube app can but even more.
With this app, you can play music videos in the background while still enjoying the music, toggle between day & night themes, access to parental controls, keeps your place on video when returning from other apps, better comment/spam filtering, and even offers AirPlay support. The app is free and is beneficial for iPad users as there isn’t a dedicated YouTube app that takes advantage of its screen size.
