As anticipated, Apple unveiled a new 13inch Retina MacBook Pro during today’s Apple event. The new smaller Retina MBP offers a 2560 x 1600 resolution on a IPS panel, also on-board is:
- HDMI Out
- 2 USB 3.0 ports
- 2 Thunderbolt ports
- FaceTime 720p HD camera
- SD card slot
- 3-stream Wi-Fi
- 3.5mm audio jack
The base model ships with 2.5GHz dual-core Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD storage, and Intel HD graphics 4000 card that starts at $1699. The higher trim offering 256GB of SSD along with faster processors and storage up to 768GB has a $1999 price tag on it. Available later today via the Apple Store. Hope to get one very soon.
