As we reported earlier, AT&T is now taking pre-orders for Samsung’s newest Big Thing: the Galaxy Note II.   The 5.5inch Android ‘superphone’ w/ quad-core processor and S-Pen is currently the talk of the town as Samsung’s marketing blitz may shift form the Galaxy S III to this.

And coming from out of nowhere Verizon is now taking pre-orders but unlike the other carriers, Verizon didn’t give anyone a fore warning.  Also priced at $299 on contract, Verizon is the only carrier that offers a distinction amongst the other Notes.  VZW placed their logo right smack dab on the Home button so you won’t forget.
