If you read our guide to cable-cutting guide, you are aware of the many options to saving $$$ by decreasing or cutting your cable bill. Boxee has been hard work on a new solution that offers many desired features rolled into one. Allow me to introduce to you the new Boxee TV; offering live broadcast channels, a cloud-based DVR, and access to apps like Netlfix, YouTube, Pandora, & Vudu.
Boxee is throwing a free digital antenna to help pick those broadcast signals to enjoy free broadcast channels in HD. Along with paying for service like Vudu and Netflix, consumers will have the option to enjoy unlimited DVR storage that can be shared on your computer, phone, or tablet for an additional $14.99 monthly fee. The Boxee TV is due out sometime in November and will have a $99 price tag attached to it. All DVR & broadcast service will not be available in every market/location upon launch.
