Samsung made sure to drop some mobile devices at their press conference earlier this week. One smartphone and one tablet, both heading to Verizon and armed with the carrier’s blazing 4G LTE speeds. The tablet is the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and the smartphone is the ATIV Odysessy.
The Note 10.1 is a tablet we already reviewed in its Wi-Fi variant last year. Everything is still the same here with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, running Android 4.1 w/ TouchWiz Nature UX, dual cameras (1.0 MP in front + 5MP in the back), and the same S-Pen from the Galaxy Note II. This 10.1 slate will make its way to the carrier in ‘coming weeks.’
The ATIV Odysessy is an entry-level Windows Phone 8 device crafted with Samsung’s style. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM + 8GB of storage w/ microSD slot, dual cameras (1.2MP in front + 5MP on the back) and a 2100 mAh battery all on a 4inch Super AMOLED display w/ 800 x 480 resolution. Also noted to become available in ‘coming weeks’ on Verizon.
Keep an eye out here for more availability details.
