I guess this says it all.  T-Mobile is looking to be your sugar daddy or your sweet momma.  They definitely want to take care of you.  T-Mobile is lighting up more metro areas today and moving forward for 2013 as fast as there 4G speeds are allowing them.  Regardless of what you have been hearing, they are out to prove they are running this mobile market race and looking for victory.  They are currently reaching 229 metro areas and over 220 million people with their 4G network.  Newly added to the 4G list are: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

T-Mobile has been making huge strides and investing a few billions of dollars to advance and improve signal strength to their airwaves, while also adding new frequency and bands to handle its very broad array of devices, and the highly anticipated iPhone.  Yes they are prepped, stepped, and just about ready to go with it.  In the meanwhile they have been announcing great data plans, new services to mobile computing devices and now HD Voice.  HD Voice is an improved voice quality for 4G capable smartphones such as the HTC One S, Samsung Galaxy S III and the Nokia Astound to name a few.  HD Voice will allow reduced background noise that can become a bother to both callers on their respected ends.  To get the true effect of HD Voice both callers must use capable phones.  T-Mobile is actually the first US wireless provider to launch HD Voice nationwide.  Beating Sprint to the punch.

Here is a statement from T-Mobile’s chief technology officer, Neville Ray:

“T-Mobile is enriching the customer experience on its network with our nationwide launch of HD Voice. In addition, multiple third-party tests have shown that the experience on T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G network rivals major competitors’ LTE networks. This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network that will reach 100 million people by mid-year and 200 million people by end of year.”

Best of luck to T-Mobile in 2013, for they are off to quite the start this year.  Loyal T-Mobile customer and current customers, it’s your time to get some carrier love.
