Looks like more and more smaller/regional carriers are getting into the iPhone action. Walmart will soon begin selling the iPhone 4 or 5 powered by Straight Talk’s service. Starting on January 11th, more than 2,000 Walmart retail store and online will offer Apple’s latest or the previous model. Walmart gives you the option to finance your iPhone via Walmart credit card with payments as low as $25 per month.
Pricing for the Straight Talk no-contract plans include:
- $45 – No Contract Monthly Plan with Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Text, and Data.
- $60 – No Contract Monthly Plan with Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Text, and Data PLUS Unlimited International Calling to more than 1,000 destinations in Mexico, Canada, India, and in other countries.
With the monthly pricing at this price, you will have to pay full retail pricing for your iPhone. For the 16GB iPhone 5 expect to pay $649 and for an 8GB iPhone 4, expect to shell out $449. Apple is definitely making it easier for EVERYONE to get an iPhone by making deals like these.
