Many consumers/tinkerers were mad already about the LG-crafted Nexus 4 not having any LTE connectivity.  Instead of Google pushing out an entirely new device at next month’s I/O conference, they may just refresh it.  According to Australian site SidhTech, Google may just beef up the internal storage and add the faster LTE radios to the latest Nexus smartphone.

Looks like Google may take page out of Apple’s playbook and do a Nexus 4S

Their report says that the refreshed Nexus 4 will have 32GB of internal storage along with CDMA & LTE support.  And also, any new devices like the Nexus 5 and/or the Motorola X Phone shouldn’t be expected until late fall (November-ish).  The addition of the two radios gives hope to Sprint & Verizon customers of their carriers actually offering the device.  The updated smartphone would join an updated Nexus 7 tablet supposedly coming this summer.

This bit of news could piss off many Nexus 4 owners or excite them into to selling it for the newer one.  Depends on if you view this with a glass-half empty or glass half-full.   If this turns out to be true, what do you think of the thought of an updated Nexus?
