And just as the rumor suggested, the HTC One will join the Galaxy S4 and get the Nexus treatment as well.  Google’s new head of software, Sundar Pichai, was in the hot seat at AllThingsD D11 conference and made it official.  It will launch on the same day as the stock Android Galaxy S4 – on June 26th and it will actually be $50 cheaper too at $599.   Offering the device unlocked running Android 4.2.2 w/ 32GB of storage and support for LTE on AT&T and T-Mobile.

Even with both devices de-skinned, Google will continue to run its Nexus program.  Very interested to see how both of the devices experiences will differ using pure Android, especially on the HTC One.  We may or may not have any Beats Audio support.  In the mean time, mark your calendars
