This morning AT&T and LG announce the new member of the Optimus family with the Optimus G Pro.  This is their new flagship Android device offering a chock full of new software and high-end specs.  Inside its equipped with a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM,  32GB of storage expanding up to 96GB by micro SD card, dual cameras (13MP in the back & 2.1MP in front) both capable of dual-recording, a massive 3140 mAh battery, running Android 4.1.2 all on a 5.5inch 1080p HD display w/ 400 ppi.

This is LG’s answer to the Galaxy S4 or the Note II.

On the software side of things, LG has added quite the features on board.  You Quick Remote, turning your device into a universal remote to work with TVs, Blu-Ray players, & cable/satellite boxes.  Dual video recording like I mentioned earlier, where you can recording using both front + rear cameras simultaneously.  QSlide allows you to multitask using two app at the same time by sliding to choose the size & transparency of the apps.

The Optimus G Pro will launch as an AT&T exclusive for $199.99 on contract and will be available on May 10th.  Pre-orders kick off on May 3rd as you can reserve yours here.  LG is having a launch party later this evening where we hope to get some hands-on time with it.  Stay tuned.  In the meantime, check out a demo video of the new Optimus series below.
