This morning during BlackBerry’s earnings conference call, CEO Thorsten Heins announced that they have decided not to bring the BlackBerry 10 OS to the PlayBook. Earlier this year, they did promise to bring the new OS to the PlayBook but would have to break that promise. Combined with the low sales and the OS not performing well on the tablet, they decided to to scrap it. Bummer.
I’m sure eBay and other sites will get flooded with people looking to sell their PlayBooks. I am keeping mines though.
