Now its Android’s turn to get Microsoft Office support.  The productivity app made its way to the iOS platform first as it also required a Office 365 subscription as well.  Android 4.0 and higher is required for use.  You can view/edit documents, add animations, graphics, to presentations, and create new Word + Excel docs from your device.

The app is currently only available for phones as Android tablets will have to wait it out. FYI, Office 365 is a cloud-based office suite w/ plans starting at $100 per year.   This is bit of news is great for those who subscribe, for everyone else there’s Google Drive which is free.
