Yesterday was the official unveiling of the long-awaited Moto X in NYC.  Some people were hoping for more of a Google Play Store-like pricing where the off-contract pricing would be somewhere within the $299 or $349 range.  During a CNET interview w/ Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside, he revealed that the Moto X is a brand and that this device is just the beginning.  Many devices are in the pipeline w/ a budget-friendly one to sell to the pre-paid and emerging markets.  Woodside wanted to make sure everyone can enjoy and have access to an affordable smartphone.
Expect more devices to be revealed in coming months.
