It’s not like anything was wrong with the YouTube app for Android but Google knows how to make things better. Earlier this evening, an update began rolling out for Android devices. Now on version 5.0.21, the new YouTube offers a Google Now-like card look to its UI. You can now search for playlists, new Chromecast improvements, and the biggest change is in-app multitasking like watching videos while searching. Nice! You can shrink videos to a thumbnail size or make it bigger by swiping up – all while the video is playing.
Very nice touches. You guys are gonna have fun with this. The update is currently rolling out at its own pace but for those who can’t wait, you can grab it here
