Great news! Apple decided to stop charging for the mobile versions of the productivity & content creation apps that are the iLife suite for iOS. That means no more having to shell out up to $10 for apps like iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), iPhoto, & iMovie. These are now free for all new devices announced today.
I still don’t regret paying $5 for iMovie a while back as a few on our video were recorded & edited on the app. No word on when these apps will get optimized for iOS 7.
