Good news for those of you looking to optimize your fitness and sleep activity.  Yesterday Fitbit unveiled their latest innovation in wearable tracking accessories.  Their latest helps optimize your movements  thanks to a built-in accelerometer + altimeter for accurate tracking.  Let’s dive into more details below.

The Force works by tracking your steps, distance walked/ran, flights of stairs climbed, calories burned, and time asleep (how well you slept & how many times you woke up in the middle of the night).  It uses Bluetooth 4.0 to sync your stats to your computer that tracks your daily stats over time to compare + contrast your progress.  You can set daily goals, earn badges, and challenge your friends as well.  

The Fitbit Force can be worn at all times as it displays the time like a watch, equipped w/ an alarm, and is water-resistant.  Fitbit plans to add the ability to view your smartphone call notifications from your Force w/ an upcoming firmware update.  You also have support for plenty of apps that will work your Force wristband.
