After all of the KitKat news from earlier today, some of you might be wondering when am I going to see the latest Android update on my device.  Well, HTC was the 1st manufacturer out the gate announce their plans for its release.  President of HTC US, Jason Mackenzie, spoke to Engadget in regards to their plans for an aggressive rollout of the update.

The Google Play Edition of the One gets priority of course as they will get it 1st within 15 days.  Then we have the Developer Edition within 30 days.  And lastly, all of the carrier-branded One devices will have it within 90 days.
The new version of Android will still run underneath Sense 5.5 as it was revealed what KitKat features will make its way to the One.  They are working on trying to get the update for the One mini + Max.  Let’s see how long before Samsung responds with their KitKat rollout plans.
