While many of you may have never heard of the company Tech21, allow me to introduce you to it. At 1st glance, it may appear to resemble that of a Speck case but there’s more to it than that. The secret sauce to Tech21 is their D3O impact technology.
If you haven’t heard of Tech21 and their D3O materials, you should get familiar.
D3O is a military-grade impact material that the molecules lock together on impact that absorbs the energy and spreads the energy away. Think of it as a super-tough Flubber that lines the inside of your case. Tech21’s Impactology cases uses a plastic shell on top of their D3O material.
