To combat Sony’s big FAQ on the upcoming PS4, Microsoft spoke with Polygon on some of the features the Xbox one will have in comparison.  At the moment, the PS4 will not support any type of CD or MP3 playback or DLNA support as well.  That matter is a bit different on the Xbox One.

Out of the box, the Xbox One will have the ability to stream media to it form other devices (DLNA) but gets a bit tricky on the audio side of things.  Microsoft’s next-gen console will support audio CD playback but no CD/MP3 ripping to the HD like previous Xbox consoles.
The one thing both consoles have in common is that Microsoft and Sony want gamers to utilize their subscription-based streaming services a lot more.
