According to a recent report from The Information, Google is not giving up on taking over your living room.  While Google TV hasn’t taken off as the company would have liked to, they are hard at work to try again.  The solution is said to called the Nexus TV, as it will be modeled after the Chromecast in the form of a set-top box.

This story corroborates w/ an earlier report that came out shortly after the launch of the Chromecast.  The Nexus TV will not support live TV broadcast like the Google TV but stream web content and games (possibly from the Google Play Store) to your TV w/ its own remote.  The Nexus TV is scheduled for a full launch sometime during the 1st half of 2014.  Maybe in time for Google I/O, who knows?

If you like Chromecast, what do you think about the Nexus TV?  Would you buy one or need more about it?
