According to the good folks over at 9to5Mac, we should expect to see some changes to come to the 4th-generation Apple TV this year. The new set top box is said to bring forth an entirely new navigation interface based on iOS. Speculation would lead us to believe that this could lead to additional forms of content to become available.
The folks over at iLounge adds to this w/ talks of an upcoming update to their streaming box that would add game & Bluetooth controller support as well. Can you say possible gaming support? That would make the little black box a bit more interesting and competitive against the Roku boxes.
At this point, it seems as if we will never get the Apple iTV many analysts have been discussing for several years now.
The new Apple TV is slated for a launch sometime this quarter.
