Back in November, we discussed on the little we knew about the new HTC device. Dubbed the M8 as the last year’s model was the M7, is looking to pick up where the HTC One left off. But HTC isn’t doing a good job on keeping the lid on things w/ this device either.
According to the notorious Evleaks, the new flagship device is said to sport a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, faster Wi-Fi connectivity, running Android 4.4 Kit Kat w/ Sense 6.0 – all on a 5inch 1080p LCD display. On the camera side of things, there’s still a rear-facing Ultrapixel camera + a 2.1MP in the front.
While Forbes reported from Taiwan analysts that the device will be called the HTC One Two. Also, HTC would beef up the Ultrapixel lens system a bit too. The newer lens is said to offer separate camera lenses for low + high lighting. They also go to mention the presence of a fingerprint scanner too.
Rumors have it pegged for an early 2014 release. Does this sound like it could be your next smartphone?
