Earlier this week at CES, TYLT (the company that crafted the great iPhone battery case I’m still using to this day) unveiled some new products for the new year. Headlining we have new battery packs and travel chargers from their Energi line of products. More details lie below.
First up, the Energi Battery Packs for all things mobile. Arriving in 6 different varieties and 3 different colors to choose from. The 2K has a 2000 mAh battery w/ a built-in USB port, the 3K has a 3000 mAh battery w/ a USB port + built-in micro-USB cable, the 3K+ has the same but has a built-in Lightning cable, 5K has a 5200 mAh battery w/ a USB port + built-in microUSB, the 5K+ has the same but has an additional built-in Lightning cable, and the 10K has a 10,000 mAh battery w/ 3 USB ports.
The 2K has 1 amp to charge only one device at a time, the 3K/K+ has 2 amps to charge two at the same time, the 5K/K+ has 3 amps to charge 3 devices at the same time, and the 10K has 4.2 amps to charge 3 devices all at once. That’s a lot of juice to go around.
For those wanting something a little more inconspicuous, they have the Energi Travel Charger. Despite being smaller and not coming in the same variety as the Battery Packs, you can keep charged on-the-go. You only have 3 variety and 4 colors to choose from. The 2K has a 2200 mAh battery + USB port, the 3K has a 3000 mAh battery w/ USB port + built-in micro-USB cable, and the 3K+ has the same but swaps a micro-USB for a Lightning cable built-in. The 2K can charge one device as it has only 1 amp while the 3K/K+ has 2 amps to charge two devices at the same time.
TYLT also announced two A-Wall wall chargers coming in 2.1 or 4.2 amp options and more compatible devices to use with the ALIN screen protectors.
No word on exact pricing or availability on the Energi chargers at the moment but we’ll keep you posted.
