If you are an avid Google Hangout user on iOS, you may have feel as if you got the short end of the stick. But alas, tonight the tables have turned! Google rolled out Hangouts v2.0 for all things iOS and other a much-needed visual makeover, there’s other features that will bring Android users envy. Hangouts is the only messaging app I use as it only got better.
New to Hangouts 2.0 is a new flatter UI to match that of iOS 7 as well as being able to do picture-in-picture video calling, send animated stickers, share a map of your current location, and send video messages of up to 10 seconds. The overall navigation has improved to display your contact list, calls tab for free internet calling, favorites, view contact’s Google+ profiles from within the chat and adding iPad support.
