Earlier today at Microsoft’s press event at MWC 2014, VP Joe Belfiore announced a slew of new announcements like adding new Windows Phone hardware partners like LG & Lenovo joining Huawei, Nokia, Samsung, & ZTE. The big WP 8.1 update coming in the Spring. Another big bit of news means another big app is coming to the WP platform.
Facebook Messenger is finally coming to the platform within the next few weeks. Facebook’s popular soon-to-be-2nd messaging app is arriving w/ the latest stickers addition as well. No real time arrival date has been set but owners can expect it to come within the next few weeks. Facebook just recently acquired WhatsApp for $19 billion as it is already available on the platform.
