Rumors have been floating around since right before the M8 became official of the higher speced version on the way. Thanks to Evleaks, we have an idea of what it may look like.
This may be the year of higher-end prime devices for both HTC + Samsung.
You might wonder how much more high-end could the M8 get? Well it is said to sport a 5.5inch 2K (2560 x 1440 resolution) HD display, powered by the high-end Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a water resistant body made of aluminum + liquid silicone, an improved LTE radio for faster data, and Duo Camera (no word on the type of camera: MP or UltraPixel).
The M8 Prime is slated for a September unveiling. The good news is that HTC may just be able to put together a dream device with no sacrifices (*ahem* camera). The bad news is that HTC appears to be further fragmenting their devices and will probably piss off many customers/loyalists.
