Many gamers were upset over the fact that the Xbox One lacked support for an external hard drive. Although it ships w/ an internal 500GB HD, it can fill up through the course of time. It has the power and the ports to make it a reality but no dice.
Based on a screenshot of by an unnamed Xbox One developer on Reddit, the long-awaited support appears to be coming sooner rather than later. The screenshot teased an notification saying External Drive Ready and showing 29.4% of a HD w/ 585.9GB left. This could be one of the many announcements coming next month for E3 or it could arrive even sooner.
