Introducing their new wireless technology called XLTE: giving double the LTE speed with no change in price or service. For those of you who might wonder why the need to beef up their service?
XLTE is a really fancy name for beefing up their network.
VZW have been suffering in certain markets w/ the abundance of smartphones + tablets taking a toll on their current LTE network. They needed to spend billions to to improve their 700MHz + AWS spectrums to make this happen. As their competitors have been besting them in the speed department.
Many devices are already XLTE-ready like the iPhone 5s, recent Galaxy family ( S4, S5, & Note 3), the M8, the G2, the BlackBerry Z30 + Q10, Moto X + Droid family, Lumia Icon, iPad Air + Retina Mini, and more.
