While attending CE Week this past Thursday, we stopped by the Denon section as they have been working on something new to share w/ everyone. Their new HEOS line of wireless multi-room sound system. For the uninitiated, Denon has 100 years of sound engineering behind them so when have a new product, you should listen.
Denon wants in on wireless home audio market.
HEOS by Denon offers 3 different, wireless speakers w/ the smaller 3 size, the medium 5 size and the biggest 7 size. The HEOS 3 sports a 2-channel digital amp w/ dual full range woofers. While the HEOS 5 has 4 class D amps, 2 tweeters, mid-woofers, and a passive radiator. And lastly the HEOS 7 has 5 class D amps, 2 custom tweeters, mid-woofers, a sub-woofer, and 2 radiators. All speakers have a USB and auxiliary-in ports.
All 3 speakers supports Wi-Fi dual-band 802.11n to offer wireless playback where ever you place the speaker in your home. Each speaker can play different music thanks to the their iOS + Android app. Which allows for easy control for each speaker + making them play the same or separate music.
HEOS is available now in select Magnolia Home Theater sections in Best Buy and will be arriving in more retailers in the very near future.
