Interestingly enough, last year Google released Google Play Editions of the more popular in quite the timely manner. Last year both the One M7 + the Galaxy S4 GPEs were launched within weeks of the original devices. This year, the focus has obviously shifted.
Now this is a Galaxy S5 I would personally buy.
The infamous @evleaks now has leaked press images of the Google Play Edition Galaxy S5. Which is a S5 running stock Android and free of the heavy TouchWiz software. You’ll still have access to Samsung’s fingerprint scanner + heart rate monitor as it will be reworked into stock Android somehow.
Its weird that the GPE HTC One M8 has been inside of the Play Store for quite some time now as this has yet to become official.
