As part of big news at Google I/O 2014, they touched briefly on Android Wear. They decided to just skip through many of the other news and went straight to what people want to know. When can we get our hands on one?
Google unveiled availability for all currently known Android Wear devices. Both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live are available right now on the Play Store. The Gear Live is essentially the Gear 2 running Android Wear. It still retains 1.63inch Super AMOLED display, dust and water resistance, and heart-rate sensor.
Both smartwatches will be available on July 7th and you can pre-order yours now on the Play Store. The Gear Live will cost you $199 while the G Watch will cost you $229. While the fan-favorite will have to wait until later this summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if it launches alongside the Moto X+1.
