Earlier this morning, HTC unveiled the 1st Android device running a 64-bit processor. Its a 2.6GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU by Qualcomm to be exact. Making this nice and ready for Android L to make use of it when it launches as well.
I think HTC miscategorized this as it is more or less a high-end device w/ a mid-range plastic body.
Along w/ that under the hood, the Desire 820 has a 5.5inch 720p display, running Android 4.4 Kit Kat w/ Sense UI, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage expandable via microSD, BoomSoubd speakers + built-in amp, a f/ 2.2 28mm13MP rear shooter + 8MP front shooter, and a 2600 man battery.
No word if this will make it here to the states but HTC says the Desire 820 will launch in select regions later in the fall.
